The Muireann Mariel is a large 53 foot Hattares luxury air conditioned sport fishing vessel and our first boat which docks at the Ala Wai Harbor in Waikiki, right next to the Hawaii Prince Hotel and a stone throw from The Hilton Hawaiian Village and the World famous Waikiki Beach.
Captain JR Chalker and crew will take you on the ultimate fishing adventure, aboard the Muireann Mariel, large and comfortable, offering custom rods equipped with Shimano Tiaga reels from light tackle to big game.
If you’re not a die-hard angler or just want sometime away from your lines, no worries, they also offer WiFi, a PS3, and air-conditioning. Even better, she is outfitted with Naiad stabilizers, which cuts back on the roll of the vessel, decreasing the occasional bouts of unpleasant sea sickness that can happen to even the most experienced angler. The Muireann Mariel comes with a five-star safety rating from the United States Coast Guard.

(Marlin Parker) Marlin has 3 Pacific Grandeurs and 38 years experience. Its an honor to be working with a legend. If you take a charter on one of his 2 boats, ask him what he did with his 1400 lbs Marlin after it was caught!!
Marlin Parker began chartering professionally in 1976. While at the helm of his first boat, the ISLANDER - only months after receiving his captain's license - he landed what, at the time, was the largest blue marlin ever weighed in at Kailua-Kona on 80-pound class tackle, a 1,257-pound monster. It was a prophetic beginning for this skipper who is regarded as one of the best marlin fisherman in the islands, and even worldwide.
The Dirty Dozen Fishing Tournament in 2014 will be held the 1st Saturday of each month, with the exception of July and August, when all of the major tournaments are held. HBGFC and Queen K Tesoro will be sponsoring the 2014 "Dirty Dozen" series of one day tournaments again in 2014.
Entry fee will be $100.00 per team with a one hundred percent return to the winners. Fifty percent goes to the largest marlin weighing over 200 lbs and the remaining fifty percent going to the largest mahi mahi (20 lb minimum), ono (20 lb minimum), or tuna (50 lb minimum) weighed, whichever is the largest.
Marlin Side Pot categories of $50.00, $100.00, and $300.00 for the largest marlin weighed over the 200 lb minimum in each category. There will be a ninety five percent return to the winner in each category. If there are no qualifying marlin in any of the side pot categories, the money will be returned at ninety five percent for the teams in the category that did not have a qualifying marlin.
