Maggie Joe: 53′ Custom sport fisher. The boat was designed by Eddie and John De Rego. It was built for long range charters as well as daily charters.
The boat is air-conditioned and equipped with top of the line fishing gear and electronics. Dry dock maintenance is performed annually to keep the fleet in prime condition.
Maggie Joe caught one of the largest marlins ever caught with a 1249 pound Pacific blue marlin in October of 1993.
Daily deep sea fishing charters depart Honokohau Harbor, at 6:00AM. Just bring your food and drink for the day as large coolers and ice are already on board. Fishing tackle, gear and licenses are included. We welcome seasoned anglers or those with no previous fishing experience for the charter fishing adventure of a life time. The daily morning briefing covers all the sport fishing details to get you ready for that first bite!
Kona offers access to some of the best natural fishing grounds in Hawaii to catch big game fish such as Pacific Blue Marlin, Ahi (yellowfin tuna), Mahi Mahi (dorado), Ono (wahoo), and Aku (skipjack tuna).
