How do I make a booking on your site?
Select which boat you would like to charter and select a requested date and time
The boat charters on our site are NOT IN REAL TIME.  
All boat charters are on a request basis and are not confirmed until you receive your Eticket pdf.  
The Eticket pdf will be sent in a separate email only when the boat is actually confirmed and booked.
If we can not book your requested deep sea fishing charter, we will contact you via email and call you with alternative charters available.

Fishing License
Hawaii nonresidents age 15 or older who fish recreationally in the ocean generally need a Nonresident Recreational Marine Fishing License; Hawaii residents do not. Certain exemptions apply. Licenses cost $20 for one day, $40 for seven days, or $70 for a year, plus online processing fees. Hawaii DLNR also advises nonresident charter passengers to obtain a license, even if they do not intend to fish. Guests are responsible for checking the rules and obtaining any required license before their trip. See the official Hawaii DLNR license guidance, or purchase your fishing license.
*We recommend getting the licence the night before your charter, in case you change date.

Cancellation Policy
If you received your Eticket for your charter there is a 15% cancellation fee for cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the confirmed charter. Charters cancelled within 48 hours prior to the confirmed time are NON REFUNDABLE.  EXCEPTIONS: Legend,  Magic, Playnhooky, Rascal, Blue Water Maui, Iwa Kai, Reel Life, Strike Zone and Whipsaw ALL REQUIRE 72 HOURS NOTICE and Marlin Magic REQUIRES 7 days prior to boat departure to cancel. Charters on these boats cancelled within these times are NON REFUNDABLE. 


Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.

Changing  Boat Charters
Our team members are on hand during regular office hours Monday–Sunday (7:00 AM–5:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time) to assist you.



Can we keep our catch?
Most Captains will let you keep your catch up to a certain weight. See each boat for more information. On most Shared charters, anglers will receive an equal share of the catch given. You are not guaranteed to catch fish.




Forms of Payment
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Diners, Discover, JCB and American Express. All payments are made to Hawaii Deep Sea Fishing


Rain Refund Policy
In case of bad weather, call us to see if the boat will be going out that day. If the chartered boat is closed on your scheduled day we can reschedule or fully refund your money. As long as the boat is going out on that day, you are expected to go on the boat. It is your responsibility to inquire as to the rain refund policy for any chartered boat. In most cases, the Captain will issue a "rain check" .


Boat Attire
In general, there is no set rule on what you can or can't wear on the boats.  We do suggest bringing the following:  Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Wind/Rain Jacket.


Individual Parties
Some Captains will take out single individuals. (Please see our entire list of boats)
