The Mollie Whopper is a super luxurious tournament ready 46" custom Merritt game boat skippered by Capt. Darrin “Dundee” Auger who started his professional fishing career at 13 years old, he has over 30 years experience fishing the Hawaiian waters.

An extensive refit was done to the Mollie Whopper in 2008 which included new twin CAT C-9 Diesel engines, a new tuna tower, state of the art Garmin electronics with 72 mile radar, 2 staterooms, restroom, galley, and salon with a/c throughout. Refrigerator/freezer, microwave, refrigerated cockpit drink box, live bait tank, Rupp triple spreader tournament outriggers and tuna tower.She is outfitted with (30-130lb class Shimano Tiagra reels and custom rods.

The island of Kauai lies right in the middle of the migration patterns of pelagic (open ocean) game fish. We fish year round and have a variety of game fish to pursue. Six species of billfish (Blue, Black, Striped, Short-nosed Spearfish, Sailfish, and Swordfish), five species of tuna (Yellow fin, Bigeye, Skipjack, Wavy back, and Albacore), Mahi mahi, and Ono. There are many near-shore species to fish for as well. Such as, Uku (Green Job fish), Ulua, (Giant Trevally), Kahala, (Amberjack), Mano (Shark).

This boat offers private charters. You will be the only group on the boat and can ask the Captain to take you to certain locations. On a private charter if you want to bring the boat in early, you can do this. There are many advantages to booking the boat to yourselves.

This boat also has Shared Charters. There will be other anglers on this charter. The captain will decide where you go fishing and you will be on a specific time frame decided by the charter company.
